E.N.C. is a platform dedicated to the presentation and archiving of audiovisual works that explore the fringes of experimental sound and visual practices. The project responds to two key challenges: the ephemerality of digital content and the lack of sustainable formats for presenting experimental audiovisual art. For this reason, E.N.C. combines physical exhibitions with a digital archive. The result is curated programmes that remain accessible in the long term and offer artists a context in which their work can be seen, heard, and experienced. E.N.C. engages with themes such as time and memory, collaborative processes, new forms of presentation, and the interplay between digital and physical spaces.

The screening at Toxi presents a selection of video works in which sound and visual languages play a central role. These span music videos, video essays, found-footage compositions, cinematic edits, and auto-fictional formats. Some of the works were re-edited especially for the exhibition, or contributed upon invitation.

Alongside the exhibition, the E.N.C. website will go online. It serves as a digital screening space and hosts a growing archive for experimental audiovisual works. The archive grows slowly and is built in close collaboration with artists, curators, and labels. It remains open to new connections and content.

E.N.C. does not understand the archive as a neutral or passive repository, but as a living memory — a space where works, through deliberate experience, continue to live, reappear, haunt, and be called upon.
